Meet The Team - Scott Brown

And #BeerStashBeerDash

· Lager,BeerStashBeerDash,Meet the team,Stiegl,Scott Brown

It's our fourth week running our #MeetTheTeam series, and of course we asked YOU to vote for which one of four 'beers' you'd like to see reviewed in 60 seconds in our #BeerStashBeerDash by Scott!

Also below we've got a few beer related questions for Scott Brown, our North, West & Central London beer ambassador. Scott has suggested four 'beers' from his beer stash, you voted on Twitter for which one you'd like to see him dash to review in Friday afternoon's #beerstashbeerdash.

Partizan Passion Berry Sour won despite Buckfasts early lead ;)

Wild Beer Co Millionairre - Salted Caramel, Chocolate Milk Stout
London Brewing Co Gigglemug - Juicy Pale Ale

Buckfast Tonic Wine - Not strictly a beer, but apparently Scott always has one on hand for emergencies

Partizan Passion Berry & Citrus Sour - Partizans first sour ale

Scott Brown North, West & Central London Beer Ambassador

What do you do at Euroboozer?

Sales and account management for North, West and Central London.

What age did your “beer journey” start & how?

My first memory of beer was sneaking sips of my Dads wee stubbie bottles while on holiday camping in France. Must have been around 7 at the time. It was all downhill from there.

What the best NEW beer you discovered in 2020?

I tried both Augustiner Edelstoff and Tegernseer Spezial for the first time in 2020. Both incredible. Obviously not new beers mind but definitely worth a mention.

What’s your favourite comfort beer, the one you always go back to?

Nothing beats getting back home to Edinburgh after a while and going to the local for a few pints of Tennent’s with the old boy. Was brought up on that stuff, Vitamin T.

What’s your favourite pub, the one you’re most looking forward to getting to post lockdown #3?

Would have to be The Pembury Tavern for a pint of Best. Been a bit of a saving grace over the last year.

What’s the most memorable beer and food pairing you’ve tried?

Must admit I haven’t done many in my time. The memorable stuff to me tends to be the most simple. I Remember having a very crisp pint of Stiegl Paracelsus Zwickl from a ceramic stein with my first proper Schnitzel whilst in Salzburg, that was good.

What do you enjoy drinking the most when you’re not drinking beer?

Like a glass of red, something proper full bodied like a Saint-Emilion. 9 times out of 10 though I’ll be having the £4 Shiraz from Lidl, which to be fair is cracking for the price.

If you weren’t a Beer Ambassador at Euroboozer what would you do?

Probably something active like PE Teacher.

Finally, tell us something that you don't think many people will know about you...

I received an ASBO for my 18th birthday party at my parent’s house.
